- Advance Termite & Pest Control
is proud to offer the leading termite control technology in the
Sentricon* Termite Colony Elimination System from Dow AgroSciences, LLC.
This proven service allows our technicians to eliminate the threat
of termite infestation
by destroying the entire termite colony.
-
-
- The System includes stations that
hold wood monitoring devices. Once the termites begin feeding on these
monitoring devices, the monitors are replaced with
baitube devices, containing
Recruit* termite bait (EPA #62719-453).
Worker
termites which feed on this bait are rendered unable to feed the
remaining colony members. Soldier and reproductive termites
are unable to feed themselves and rely on the worker termites to
feed them. Recruit* bait is termite
specific and continuous feeding by the workers eventually results in
colony elimination. Following colony elimination, wood stakes
are again placed in the stations and the monitoring system begins
anew since a new colony can infest the area.
During the monitoring sessions, if
any Station sustains a "hit" by termites, Recruit* termite bait is
placed in that Station and auxiliary Stations are placed on either
side of the Station sustaining the hit. No additional costs
are charged for the installation of any auxiliary stations deemed
necessary by our technicians, the placement of Recruit* termite
bait, any of the monitoring sessions or any necessary spot
treatments of active termite infestations. Our office
furnishes the property owner with a report of our technician's
findings after each monitoring session.
- Each member of our team of
professionals has been trained and tested before being authorized
by Dow AgroSciences, LLC to provide Sentricon*
services. Our company currently has Systems installed in
Hutchinson and the surrounding area, including Lyons, Mount Hope, Abbyville, Nickerson, Arlington, Kingman, Newton and
Wichita.
